International Cricket Council‘S (ICC) Virtual meeting to break the deadlock next year champions trophy The standoff between India and Pakistan continued on Friday, ending in a little more than 15 minutes. While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (bcci) Sticks to its decision not to travel to Pakistan to play the tournament, Pakistan Cricket Board (pcb) is refusing to accept a hybrid model where India can play all its matches at neutral venues.
In such a scenario, moving the Champions Trophy out of Pakistan seems to be a possible option, unless Pakistan accepts the hybrid model, the tournament can also be held without Pakistan.
However, former Pakistan batsman Basit Ali says that it is impossible to conduct the tournament without both India and Pakistan.
