The Economic Times, citing multiple sources familiar with the matter, said reports That Amazon India is preparing to launch its instant commerce delivery service, codenamed Tez, in late December or early next year.
The launch of Tez will mark Amazon’s entry into the instant commerce sector. The e-commerce giant was earlier planning to launch the service in the first quarter of next year, but has reportedly pushed back its plans. The service is expected to begin with groceries and daily essentials in the coming weeks.
“Amazon wants to launch it in India before the end of the first quarter. If you’re a meaningful consumer internet platform, instant commerce is where all the action is.
