At a press conference on Tuesday, Vishvaraj alleged that the district administration had failed to perform its duties. He said, “It is my right to visit the temple of my ancestors, but I was denied entry to the palace. I sought cooperation from the district administration, but they did nothing. Despite stone pelting from the other side, no action was taken. The administration claimed that they lacked sufficient force to open the palace gates.

In response, District Collector Arvind Poswal reaffirmed the responsibility of the administration to maintain law and order. “We have taken control of Dhuni Mata temple and appointed a receiver to manage it. Mediation efforts are ongoing between both the parties. The police are also actively ensuring that the situation remains under control,” Poswal said.

Monday night’s events were the first public clash on such a large scale between Maharana Pratap’s descendants.
