New Delhi: PM Modi on Monday criticized the repeated disruptions in Parliament and said those involved should consider being repeatedly rejected by the voters, but said both Houses will meet on the opening day of the winter session. Pay attention, often punish them when the time comes.” Adding that it was “time for him to show remorse for past actions” and allow the House to function properly.
The PM said he had been repeatedly urging opposition members that Parliament should function smoothly, and some of them agreed with him.
Modi expressed hope that new members of all parties will get a chance to speak in Parliament. He said, “They bring new ideas and innovative perspectives to take India forward. Today the world looks at India with great hope.”
