New Delhi: Investigation into the suicide of a 15-year-old boy revealed that the 26-year-old sales executive allegedly committed suicide. sexual harassment and harassed him accordingly Pune Police On Wednesday.
A police officer said, “Investigation revealed that an unknown person had sent messages to the boy threatening to make his photographs and videos public. Police traced the accused.”
According to a PTI report, interrogation revealed that the sales executive had sexually assaulted the teenager and had captured the incident on his mobile device.
“Later, the accused started harassing the boy by sending him pictures and videos on his phone, due to which the teen committed suicide,” the officer said.
Authorities have registered charges including abetment of suicide against the accused.
The teenager died by suicide at his residence on October 15.
The authorities have registered a case under applicable sections of the Indian Justice Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. The accused is absconding.
